2015. When the Association for Improvised Music (AMR) in Geneva offered me a carte blanche, it did not take long to decide what to do. I gathered together my best musician friends, met during my “three lives” in Lecce, Florence and Geneva, and I composed new music for them. I was convinced that the deep link that I share with them would have invested the music with an energy impossible to find elsewhere. The music that you will listen to has been played in concert at the AMR and recorded on Saturday May 9th 2015, except for the accordion solo and “Prochain arrêt”, recorded on Friday May 8th. There is no editing whatsoever inside the tracks. I can still feel the energy radiating from my frères de voyage during those concerts. I hope you will feel it as well.

2013. William Parker - Wood Flute Songs. In order to celebrate the 30th edition of its international jazz festival, the Geneva association for improvised music (AMR) invited William Parker to create an original music program for his quartet and a combo of Geneva-based musicians. I had the chance to be part of that combo. The concert was so successful that Mr. Parker decided to include its full, unedited recording in this anthology of his music.
